The Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) today celebrated the opening of its branch in the Wilayat of Khasab in the Governorate of Musandam. This branch is the 8th branch of PACP after the branches of Salalah, Sur, Ibri, Nizwa, Ibra, Governorate of Al Buraimi and A'Rustaq. Another branch will be opened soon in the Wilayat of Sohar.
The new branch in the Governorate of Musandam will serve the Wilayats of Khasab, Bukha, Diba and Madha.
Dr. Said bin Khamis bin Juma al-Ka'abi, PACP Chairman said that opening this new branch will help in activating various trade activities in the governorate to achieve a market that preserves all rights for the consumers and traders.
In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), he added that this branch will serve all wilayats of the governorate, pointing out that this branch, just like other PACP branches, is provided with all necessary requirements to carry out its tasks.
Dr. Al-Ka'abi, affirmed that the authority is working to complement all requirements based on the scientific and planned basis, expressing his hope that PACP will be a real partner with the consumer in this country.
